LOCALIZATION
| REST is located in
the town of Guaraqueçaba, in the North shore of the State of Parana,
about 150km of Curitiba, the capital. The area occupies all the west slope
of the Mountain of Tromomo, a private reservation with around 850 hectares
in the heart of the APA of Guaraqueçaba.
Located in the great lake-estuary complex that extends from Cananeia and Iguape to Paranagua, Guaraqueçaba is part of the largest continuous remainder of the Brazilian Atlantic forest. |
