REST - Ecological Refuge Mountain of Tromomo is an ecotourism entrepreneurship that is being implanted with the main goals of contributing for the preservation of the Atlantic Forest, one of the most endangered ecosystems in the world, to value the local culture and to provide a differentiated experience of relationship with nature.

In the last years the word ecotourism became popular and today it is used as synonym of any activity carried out outdoors. But, actually, ecotourism involves other subjects. Conservation of the environment, respect and involvement with the local culture, promoting sustainable development are the main points that make a difference. What we intend in REST is to provide to our guests a true ecotourism experience. A privilege for the few who have sensibility to value all this wealth.
